Sled Dog Advisory LLC (“Sled Dog,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides consulting services, educational content, the SledDogHQ website, and the Cold Call Training mobile application (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information across:

- Cold Call Training App (iOS)
- Backend systems including our token server, TURN server, and API endpoints
This policy applies to all users of our websites, services, and mobile applications.

We only collect information necessary to provide our training tools and maintain our websites and applications.
1.1 Information collected in the mobile App
Microphone Audio (App Only)
When you initiate a training session, the App captures real-time microphone audio and securely transmits it to OpenAI to:
- Recognize and transcribe speech
- Generate responses from the AI training agent
- Produce optional scorecards
We do not store, retain, or save your audio on our servers.

Speech recognition
Your audio is processed by Apple (on-device when possible) and/or OpenAI strictly for real-time conversation.
Session & Connection Data
To establish WebRTC connections, our servers may receive:
- Session Description Protocol (SDP) data
- ICE candidates
- TURN/STUN routing metadata
- Timestamp, event logs (non-identifiable)
These contain no conversation audio and no personal identity information.
App Analytics (Anonymized)
We may collect anonymized diagnostic information such as:
- Crash logs
- Network failures
- TURN usage
- Latency
- Performance statistics
This data cannot identify you and contains no audio or transcript content.
1.2 Information Collected on Our Websites (SledDogHQ.com & SledDogAdvisory.com)
Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect:
- Remembering comment details
- Login sessions (WordPress admins)
- Screen display preferences
- Security/authentication cookies
These are standard WordPress cookies and do not track personal browsing behavior outside our site.
Embedded Content
Articles may include embedded content from third-party services (YouTube, X/Twitter, etc.).
These third parties may collect usage data, cookies, or analytics based on their own privacy policies.
Website Analytics
We may use:
- Google Analytics
- Jetpack / Automattic analytics
- Server-level logging (IP address, browser type, timestamp)
These analytics do not include audio, app usage, or personal identifiers beyond typical web logs.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide AI-based training conversations
- Establish secure WebRTC audio connections
- Issue short-lived tokens for authentication
- Operate and improve the App
- Maintain and secure our websites
- Detect spam or malicious activity
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or advertising.

We share information only as necessary to operate our services.

With Spam Detection Services
Visitor comments may be checked through automated spam detection systems.
We Do NOT:
- Sell personal information
- Rent, trade, or transfer data for advertising
- Share audio or transcript data with third parties beyond OpenAI
4. Data Retention
App Data
- Audio: Not stored
- Transcripts: Not stored unless the user explicitly saves them (currently disabled)
- Technical logs: Retained briefly for diagnostics, then automatically deleted
Website Data
- Comments and metadata: stored indefinitely
- Registered user profiles (if applicable): stored until deletion by user or admin
- Login cookies: expire automatically per WordPress defaults
5. Security
We use multiple layers of security, including:
- TLS-encrypted HTTPS for all connections
- DTLS/SRTP encryption for WebRTC audio
- Secure TURN relay
- API rate limiting
- Token-based authentication
- Server-level firewalls (AWS + UFW)
While no system is 100% secure, we implement industry-standard best practices.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.), you may have rights to:
- Access data we hold about you
- Request deletion
- Request correction
- Request an exported copy of your data
- Opt out of analytics cookies
For App users:
Since we do not store personal data or audio, most deletion requests simply confirm that we hold no stored conversation data.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
